Is my urinary pH within the norms ?

An acidified person will reject excess acid through the urine ; consequently the urine will become acidic. The first morning urine is usually more acidic because of waste accumulated during the night. Normally, the urinary pH is between 7 and 7.5 from the second urination of the day. Remember that the higher the acidity, the lower the pH number will be.
We determine the urinary pH by urinating directly on a BIOSANA control strip before each meal. The colour of the strip will change according to the acidity level. You will obtain the urine's pH, by comparing it to a measurement standard.
A single control is not enough to determine whether the body is acid or not. The urinary pH varies in response to many factors such as food ingested, fatigue, physical activity, stress. Because of this, it is necessary to control the urinary pH regularly, (morning, noon and evening) to obtain an accurate picture of the pH level. Deductions about the pH cannot be made without testing first.

Write down the date in the appropriate box, and the results of the urinary pH test after completing it.
The morning urine pH is taken from the SECOND URINATION (the first one if you urinated during the night). To help analyse the results, you should take notes at the end of the day. Use key words to indicate any significant factors, for the pH being modified. Factors like sports, heavy meals, stress, frustrating events at work, fasting, trips, medication, etc.
