    An acidified person reject excess acid through the urine. Therefore, the urine become acidic. The first morning urine is generally more acidic due to waste accumulated during the night. Normally, the urinary pH varies between 7 and 7.5 as of the second urination of the day. Keep in mind as acidity levels increase, the lower the pH number will be.

    Urinary pH level is determined by the urinating directly on a BIOSANA control strip before each meal and before taking any medication or supplements. The colors of the strip will vary according to the acidity level. By comparing it to a measurement standard, the urine's pH is determined.

    A single control is not sufficent in determining whether the conditions is acid or not acid. Urinary pH levels varies in response to many factors such as: ingested food, fatigue, physical activity and stress. Therefore, it is necessary to regulary control urinary pH, (morning, noon and evening) in order to get an accurate portrait of the pH level. Conclusions on pH conditions cannot be made without previous testing.

HOW TO USE IT

The morning urine pH is taken from the SECOND URINATION (the first one if you urinated during the night). In order to help the results analysis, a daily journal should be kept with key words explaining significant factors which could modify pH levels. For example: sports, heavy meals, work related stressors, fasting travel, medication, etc.

Concentration in ions H+ with regard to the pH 7, the neutrality

pH 6 = 10 times more acid
pH 5 = 10 X 10 = 100 times more acid
pH 4 = 10 X 100 = 1 000 times more acid

Take note in the appropriate spaces the date and, immediately after testing, the urinary pH results.
